Bronzemedaille für Berner Plattenlegerin

Franca Gamma gewann die Bronzemedaille.

Die zwei Plattenlegerinnen und der Plattenleger aus dem Kanton Bern können stolz auf ihre Plätze, in der internationalen Rangliste, am Berufswettbewerb in Peking blicken. Franca Gamma konnte sich gegen zwei Chinesen behaupten und gewann die Bronzemedaille.

Die beiden Bernerinnen und der Berner zeigten am Berufswettbewerb in Peking ihr ganzes Können. Die drei Berufsleute mussten in Peking zwei Wände innert wenigen Stunden umsetzen und traten gegen drei chinesische Plattenleger an. Mit Präzision, Konzentration und handwerklichem Geschick mussten sie Fliese um Fliese verlegen, um das vorgegebene Motiv abzubilden. Bei der Schlusszeremonie durften sich alle drei für ihre Leistungen feiern lassen:

Franca Gamma, Schwanden b. Brienz (Zurbuchen Plattenbeläge und Ofenbau AG, 3800 Unterseen) Platz 3
Michaela Zaugg, Heimenschwand (Keramik Allenbach, 3626 Hünibach) Rang 4
Matthias Kropf, Oberwil im Simmental (Balz Gerber AG, 3763 Därstetten) Rang 4

Morgen geniessen die jungen Berufsleute noch einen Tag in Peking, bevor sie wieder zurück in die Heimat fliegen.
