An der Hilti Konzernzentrale in Schaan entsteht bis Ende 2022 die grösste Photovoltaikanlage Liechtensteins. Auf einer Fläche von rund 1,5 Fussballfeldern werden künftig mehr als 4600 Solarmodule den Hilti Campus mit Sonnenstrom versorgen.
Ab Ende August werden bei Hilti am Standort Schaan auf rund 9000 m2 Solarpanels mit einer Gesamtleistung von ca. 1,7 MWp installiert. Dafür werden die Dächer des Parkhauses und des Innovationszentrums sowie eine Freifläche genutzt. Ab Inbetriebnahme, die für Ende 2022 geplant ist, werden die Photovoltaikmodule insgesamt 1800 MWh Solarstrom pro Jahr erzeugen. Dies entspricht dem jährlichen Energiebedarf von ca. 720 Haushalten.
Die grüne Energie soll zu 100 Prozent vor Ort verbraucht werden. Insgesamt deckt die mehrteilige Solar-Anlage ca. 10 Prozent des Gesamtstrombedarfs der Konzernzentrale. Für den restlichen Stromverbrauch bezieht das Unternehmen seit 2020 ausschliesslich zertifizierten Grünstrom – ebenso wie alle weiteren Hilti Standorte weltweit.
60 neue Ladestationen: Mitarbeitende tanken Sonne
Der Strom vom eigenen Dach wird auch den Mitarbeitenden an 60 zusätzlichen Ladestationen im Parkhaus zur Verfügung gestellt. CEO Christoph Loos: «Während die Teams an ihrem Arbeitsplatz an den nächsten Innovationen arbeiten, können ihre Elektrofahrzeuge in der Zwischenzeit wortwörtlich Sonne tanken. Der Solarstrom wird für unsere Mitarbeitenden kostenlos sein. Damit profitieren sowohl die Umwelt als auch unsere Teammitglieder. Gleichzeitig wollen wir unsere Beschäftigten dazu ermutigen, ihren eigenen Lebensalltag klimafreundlicher zu gestalten.»
Die neuen Ladestationen sind Teil des «Green Mobility»-Konzepts. Neben der Förderung der Elektromobilität werden die Mitarbeitenden über Anreizsysteme dazu motiviert, umweltfreundlicher zur Arbeit zu kommen, beispielsweise mit dem Fahrrad, öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder in Fahrgemeinschaften. Ziel der verschiedenen Initiativen zur CO2-Reduktion des Unternehmens ist es, bis 2023 CO2-Neutralität für die Liechtensteiner Konzernzentrale und global zu erreichen.
