Bisherige Lösungen überzeugen nicht.

Bereits seit vielen Jahren kann man mit zunehmender Häufigkeit Meldungen und Berichte über Unfälle mit Personen- und Sachschäden durch umgestürzte Bauzäune verfolgen. Beteiligte und Branchenexperten
beklagen sich über den aktuellen Standard der Verkehrs- und Baustellenabsicherung. Die Ursache hierbei liegt jedoch nicht bei den Zaunelementen an sich, sondern bei den allgemein etablierten Betonfüssen, welche den Windlasten bei Sturm und Unwetter statisch nicht gewachsen sind.

Jener Sachverhalt stellte das Unternehmen FenzFoot Team aus Stuttgart (D) vor einen gänzlich inakzeptablen Ist-Zustand. Darauffolgende Recherchen zeigten, dass die eigentliche Problematik weder die Ignoranz der Bauherren noch die gesetzliche Duldung des Risikos betrifft, sondern sich auf die faktisch bisher nicht vorhandene Alternative zu den bisherigen Zaunfüssen bezieht. Auf Basis der gemachten Erfahrungen wurden die Schwachstellen des bisherigen Zaunaufbaus analysiert und durch Verbesserungsansätze in einer gänzlich neuen Konstruktionsform zusammengetragen. So konnte letztlich ein komplett neuartiger Bauzaunfuss zur Sicherung von Baustellen, Verkehr und Veranstaltungen entwickelt werden.

Innovativ und praxistauglich
Von Beginn an lag der Fokus des Projekts darauf, eine besonders sichere, aber auch nachhaltige Lösung zu bieten. Der patentierte Hohlkörper der FenzFoot GmbH besteht aus fünf Millimeter starkem Recycling-Polypropylen mit zusätzlichen Hülsen für vier Erdschrauben. Der «Fuss» verfügt hierbei über ein Füllvolumen von circa 65 Litern und ein Eigengewicht von circa sechs Kilogramm. Befüllt wird mit Wasser (Vollgewicht 71 Kilogramm) oder mit Quarzsand (105 Kilogramm) über eine Öffnung an der Oberseite. Für eine Beschleunigung dieses Vorgangs wird eine mobile Servicestation mit integriertem Vakuumkompressor / Sauger angeboten, wodurch der Korpus innerhalb von circa 80 Sekunden gefüllt und entleert werden kann. Die innovative Konstruktionsform mit ihrer ausgedehnten Höhe von 40 Zentimetern verankert den Zaun förmlich im Fusselement und bietet dem gesamten Aufbau wesentlich mehr Stabilität. In Verbindung mit dem hohen Gewicht des Fusses stellen auch sehr starke Windlasten keine Gefahr mehr
dar. Eine Simulation im Windkanal hat diesbezüglich ergeben, dass ein Zaunaufbau mit Betonfüssen, die je 25 Kilogramm wiegen, bei circa 55 Kilometer pro Stunde Windgeschwindigkeit zu kippen beginnt. Mit dem wasserbefüllten FenzFoot hält der
Zaunaufbau Geschwindigkeiten bis circa 75 Kilometer / pro Stunde – und mit Sand gefüllt sogar Windlasten über 100 Kilometer / pro Stunde. Zusätzlich gibt es die Möglichkeit zur Verankerung im Boden durch massgefertigte Erdschrauben, um bei besonderer Bodenbeschaffenheit und anspruchsvollen lokalen Wetterbedingungen zusätzlichen Halt zu erzielen.

Ein belastbares Leichtgewicht
Das geringe (Leer-)Gewicht spart zudem Transportkosten und schont die Aufbauenden durch körperliche Entlastung. Auch gegenüber dem hohen Verschleiss der Betonfüsse kann dieses Produkt durch dessen beständige und belastbare Kunstoff-Bauweise punkten, denn neben der Sicherheit steht vor allem Nachhaltigkeit im Fokus der Entwickler. Obwohl das neue Sicherungselement zu 100 Prozent aus recycelten Kunststoffen, zum Beispiel alten Getränkekisten, hergestellt wird, entspricht das Spritzgusselement den allerhöchsten Qualitätsstandards. Sollte wider Erwarten Verschleiss eintreten, kann dieses jedoch auch auf einfache Weise in den Recyclingkreislauf zurückgeführt werden.

Die vier bis fünf Betonelemente und diversen Stützverwinkelungen, die bisher zum sicheren Aufbau benötigt wurden, können nun durch einen einzigen Fenz-Foot ersetzt werden. Der Kunde kann nicht zuletzt also auch einen deutlichen Effizienzgewinn erwarten.1
