Die Kreislaufwirtschaft ist ein zentraler Pfeiler für die Nachhaltigkeit im Bauwesen. Die Instrumente von ecobau (Minergie-ECO, ecoBKP, ecoDevis, ecoProdukte) unterstützen engagierte Bauherrschaften, Architekten und Fachplanerinnen beim zirkulären Bauen. Ecobau ermöglicht damit einen Beitrag zur Transformation hin zu einer kreislauforientierten Bauwirtschaft.
WARUM BRAUCHT ES DIE KREISLAUFWIRTSCHAFT?
Damit wir die Klimaziele erreichen, müssen wir unseren CO2-Ausstoss senken und sparsamer mit unseren Ressourcen umgehen. Ein wichtiger Ansatz dafür ist das Prinzip der Kreislaufwirtschaft. Diese ist der der Gegenentwurf zum heutigen linearen Modell von «produzieren, nutzen und entsorgen». Ziel der Kreislaufwirtschaft ist, Materialien und Produkte so lange wie möglich zu nutzen, wiederzuverwenden oder zu rezyklieren. Dank des verlängerten Lebenszyklus sinken der heute grosse Verschleiss an Primärrohstoffen, die CO2- Emissionen und das Abfallvolumen.
Die Bauwirtschaft hat die Relevanz der Kreislaufwirtschaft erkannt, auch wenn sie in der Anwendung noch am Anfang steht. Zirkulär bauen bedeutet zum einen, Gebäude so zu planen, dass sie möglichst einfach an veränderte Anforderungen angepasst und somit lange genutzt werden können. Zum anderen sollen Bauteile wiederverwendet (Re-Use) und Baumaterialien rezykliert werden können. Dies wiederum bedingt eine gute Rückbaubarkeit von Gebäuden, bei der sich die Materialien und Bauteile einfach zurückgewinnen lassen. Auf diese Weise arbeiten wir mit Bestehendem weiter und halten die Materialien im Kreislauf.
ECOBAU BIETET ORIENTIERUNG
In der Baupraxis gibt es – vereinfacht – zwei Ansatzpunkte, um von der linearen Wirtschaft wegzukommen:
- Die Gebäude müssen von Anfang an kreislauffähig geplant und gebaut werden.
- Beim Rück- oder Umbau müssen die Bauteile und Materialien im Kreislauf gehalten werden. Ecobau hat beide Ansätze in die verschiedenen Instrumente wie zum Beispiel eco Devis, ecoBKP und ecoProdukte integriert. Bauherrschaften, Architekten und Fachplanerinnen, die diese Instrumente nutzen, erhalten dank ecobau Hilfestellung bei der Umsetzung der Kreislaufwirtschaft in ihren Projekten.

POTENZIALANALYSE «ZIRKULÄRES BAUEN»
Einen praxisbezogenen Einblick ins Thema des zirkulären Rückbaus bietet der neu entwickelte «Leitfaden Potenzialanalyse Zirkuläres Bauen». Der Leitfaden ist ein einfaches Hilfsmittel, um abzuschätzen, wie viele der Baumaterialien und Baustoffe bei Sanierungen und Rückbauvorhaben sich für Re-Use eignen. So zeigt der ecoBKP die Möglichkeiten für Re-Use und Recycling einzelner Bauteile und Baustoffe. Sind beide Kreislaufvarianten nicht möglich oder sinnvoll, werden in den jeweiligen BKPs die Entsorgungswege aufgezeigt. Überdies geben ausgewählte BKP Hinweise, wie Konstruktionen aufgebaut sein sollten, damit Materialien möglichst lange im Kreislauf bleiben. Wo Produkte auf die Anforderungen geprüft wurden, besteht ein Link zur Liste der ecoProdukte.
ECODEVIS
ecoDevis vereinfacht die Ausschreibung mit schadstoffarmen und ressourcenschonenden Baumaterialien. Einzelne Devis enthalten Angaben zu Re-Use, Recycling und Entsorgung. Die ecoDevis sind nach den Nummern des Normpositionen-Katalogs (NPK) gegliedert und Teil der gängigen NPK-Devisierungsprogramme.
ECOPRODUKTE
Die Liste der ecoProdukte hilft bei der Auswahl von kreislauffähigen Materialien, denn ecoProdukte sind schadstoffarm und ressourcenschonend. Neben ökologischen und gesundheitlichen Kriterien bewertet das Label auch den Entsorgungsweg der Bauprodukte.
