Insgesamt drei ISOshade®-Elemente mit Höhen von fast sieben Metern bilden die neue Glasfassade des Diözesanmuseums St. Afra in Augsburg.

iconic skin hat für die Fassadensanierung des Diözesanmuseums St. Afra in Augsburg ISOshade®, das Isolierglas mit integriertem Sonnenschutz, geliefert. Insgesamt drei Elemente mit Höhen von fast sieben Metern bilden die neue, energieeffiziente Glasfassade. ISOshade® erfüllt höchste Anforderungen an Design und Transparenz. Gleichzeitig liefern die Elemente Wärme- und Schallschutz in Kombination mit variablem Sonnenschutz, um die sensiblen Exponate vor UV-Licht zu schützen.

Im Jahr 2018 wurde das Diözesanmuseum St. Afra einer Sanierung unterzogen mit dem Ziel, die Energiekosten des Museums zu reduzieren. Dabei sollte auch die bisherige Glasfront energetisch optimiert und zum Schutz der ausgestellten Exponate vor Licht mit einem variablen Sonnenschutz ausgestattet werden. Gleichzeitig war eine ansprechende, homogene Optik gewünscht, um Besucher willkommen zu heissen. Mit ISOshade® kam eine Lösung, die Sonnen-, Wärme- und Schallschutz in einer kompakten Bauweise vereint, ins Spiel.

LICHTSPIELE IM MUSEUM
«Im Museum stehen wir vor verschiedenen Herausforderungen. Besuchern möchten wir eine angenehme Tageslichtstimmung bieten, gleichzeitig aber sensible Exponate vor Sonneneinstrahlung schützen. Mit dem Isolierglas haben wir die für uns passende Lösung gefunden. Der integrierte Raffstore lässt sich witterungsunabhängig bewegen. Selbst bei Schneefall oder stärkerem Wind lässt sich die Anlage justieren und störende Geräusche der Lamellen entfallen. Ein für die Exponate geeignetes Raumklima kombiniert mit effizientem Blendschutz war unsere Vorgabe, die ISOshade® hervorragend erfüllt», so Melanie Thierbach, Leiterin des Diözesanmuseums.

Konzipiert wurde die Fassade als SGFassade. Drei Elemente in der Ausführung ISOshade® RS mit integriertem Raffstore und je einer Höhe von 6.7 Metern bilden die Fassade. Durch die verstellbaren Lamellen lässt sich der Licht- und Energieeintrag komfortabel steuern. Der Glasaufbau wurde entsprechend den PerformanceAnforderungen gewählt: Rauminnenseitig besteht die Verglasung aus einer Dreischeiben-Wärmeschutzisolierverglasung und liefert einen Ug-Wert von 0.6 W/(m²K). Aussenseitig ist eine Verbundsicherheitsscheibe mit einbruchhemmender Funktion angebracht. Diese schützt auch den integrierten Sonnenschutz vor Schmutz, Wind und Wetter.

OHNE ENERGIEVERBRAUCH
 Die ISOshade®-Fassade ist eine geschlossene Doppelfassade, die nach einem bauphysikalischen Prinzip funktioniert. In der Regel nutzen geschlossene, doppelschalige Fassaden ein energieintensives Druckausgleichssystem: Getrocknete Luft wird über einen Kompressor und ein Leitungssystem eingeleitet, um Kondensatfreiheit im Zwischenraum zu erreichen. Bei ISOshade® regelt ein volumenabhängiger Mechanismus selbstständig den Druckausgleich in der Kavität. Dadurch entfallen Anschaffungs-, Montage- und Baukosten für etwaige Belüftungs- und Leitungssysteme, gleichzeitig reduzieren sich die Betriebskosten über ist Marketing-Managerin bei iconic skin.
