Dr. Robert Sala promovierte an der Eidgenössischen Technischen Hochschule Zürich als Polymer- Chemiker und absolvierte eine betriebswirtschaftliche Weiterbildung. Als CEO und COO verschiedener internationaler Unternehmen der Industrie, Technologie und im Sonderfahrzeugbau verfügt er über eine grosse Fachkompetenz sowie fundierte Erfahrung aus seinen Tätigkeiten in KMU und börsenkotierten Unternehmen. Von 2015 bis 2018 arbeitete der 56-Jährige für die Sihl Gruppe als COO und war für die Leitung der Standorte in der Schweiz, Deutschland, Frankreich und den USA verantwortlich, von Februar 2017 bis Juli 2018 war er General Manager der Sihl AG in Bern. Als Unternehmer und Mitglied in ausgewählten Verwaltungsräten ist Dr. Robert Sala auch auf der strategischen Ebene erfahren. Zudem kennt er Top Fifty AG als Associate Partner bereits seit mehreren Jahren. Sala ist Schweizer, verheiratet und Vater von zwei erwachsenen Töchtern und zwei erwachsenen Söhnen.
