Schneidebretter aus 66 Lagen Papier, verbunden mit einem lebensmittelgeeigneten Harz auf Basis von Cashewnussschalen: Die in Österreich entwickelten Pro-Planche-Schneidebretter sind ab sofort offiziell in der Schweiz erhältlich. Die Bretter enthalten 0 Prozent Plastik. Beim Schneiden lösen sich deshalb keine Kunststofffasern und es entsteht kein Mikroplastikabrieb, wie dies bei herkömmlichen Kunststoffschneidebrettern möglich ist. Pro Planche bietet damit eine langlebige und alltagstaugliche Alternative für Menschen, die Plastik in ihrer Küche reduzieren und Lebensmittel auf einer kunststofffreien Unterlage zubereiten möchten. Für den Import und den Vertrieb im Schweizer Markt ist die Quality Matters GmbH aus Au ZH verantwortlich. Das Unternehmen beliefert sowohl den Fachhandel und die Gastronomie als auch Konsumentinnen und Konsumenten. Die besondere Materialkombination macht die Schneidebretter widerstandsfähig, pflegeleicht und vielseitig einsetzbar. Die einzelnen Papierlagen werden unter hohem Druck mit einem lebensmittelgeeigneten Harz auf Cashewnussbasis verbunden.
