KONE gehört laut Corporate Knights zu den nachhaltigsten Unternehmen der Welt und belegt im jüngsten Global-100-Ranking Platz 54. Es ist das einzige Aufzugs- und Rolltreppenunternehmen, das es auf die Liste «Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World» geschafft hat. In der übergeordneten Industriegruppe «Machinery» (Maschinenbau) erreicht KONE Platz zwei unter 397 Unternehmen weltweit – und unterstreicht damit seine Position an der Spitze der Nachhaltigkeitsleistung in seinem Sektor.
